Schedule a consultation ## Highly sensitive children have many facets The **High sensitivity of children** shows itself very differently. Some **HSC (highly sensitive children)** appear rather calm, shy, and introverted. Others appear rather restless, distracted, and sometimes even aggressive. Often, these children are mistakenly **ADHD or ADD** diagnosed. In reality, they are highly sensitive. ![HSC ADHD Highly sensitive child](https://www.loesungs-coaching.de/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/crying-613389-800.webp "Von den Eindrücken überfordert") *Leon (four years old) is very unhappy in his kindergarten. His settling-in period took a long time and was difficult. Somehow, he still hasn't really settled in.* In sports, he mostly sits on the bench and doesn't want to participate. He eats lunch at daycare because his single mother has to work. Leon is a picky eater there and often eats nothing at all. He rarely participates in free play and usually retreats to a quiet corner. At the same time, he is sad because he would like to play along. Schedule a consultation ## Sometimes highly sensitive children are diagnosed with a perceptual disorder The educators perceive his behavior as conspicuous and suspect a perceptual disorder, as Leon, for example, mostly finds tactile games very unpleasant and reacts "strangely" or is almost listless after sports. When his mother picks him up at 1:00 PM, Leon runs to her joyfully and is completely exhausted at the same time. In the morning, on the other hand, he finds it very difficult to detach himself from his mother. The mother feels the judgmental glances of the educators precisely. ## Further examples for HSC *Finn (eight years old) seems very shy. He doesn't like paying at the checkout, let alone going shopping himself. In unfamiliar situations, for example, at a children's birthday party, he hides behind his mother. He cries easily and is sometimes bullied by other children.* *Noa (two months old) is a crying baby. He cries day and night. Without anyone knowing what he wants. All attempts to calm him down fail. The few times he sleeps are short. His parents are completely exhausted. Their limit of strength is far exceeded. In the meantime, they argue more and more. They had imagined it quite differently. They are beginning to resign themselves and sometimes even just let Noa cry. They then reproach themselves for it.* Noah's behavior can have a background of innate hypersensitivity, an unreleased reflex, or birth trauma. It is important to look closely here. ![Coaching and Training for High Sensitivity Trauma](https://www.loesungs-coaching.de/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/baby-215303_960_720.jpg) - *Johanna (second grade) gets upset very quickly. At the slightest criticism, when she loses a game or something doesn't go her way, she has tantrums. She throws toys around the room, hits and kicks, and cannot be calmed down. Homework takes hours, there are arguments and tears, and afterward, the parents and child are completely exhausted.* She already got the title ‘Drama Queen’ in kindergarten and it was readily adopted by the teachers at her new school. The teachers say that although she is very intelligent, she enormously disrupts the lessons; furthermore, she is unable to concentrate on the lessons. Parents, educators, and teachers often face this behavior helplessly. They lack knowledge about the internal processes triggered by high sensitivity. And they don't know the factors that ensure that a **highly sensitive child** behaves this way. At the same time, they lack the tools on how to helpfully support a child in such difficult situations. ## In coaching for parents of highly sensitive children, you will receive: Important information about high sensitivity: This information will help you understand your child better. Because just that often makes a big difference. Your child is not wrong – they are simply different. That's why they also need different support in some areas than average sensitive children. ![Highly Sensitive Child Consulting Hameln Hanover Hildesheim](https://www.loesungs-coaching.de/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/affection-1866868_640.jpg) Support for you as parents or as a couple: Especially when one parent is highly sensitive and the other is normally sensitive, difficulties often arise. I support you in finding a way to raise your child together. If you both pull together, this strength will be reflected in your child, in your partnership, and in your entire family. This way, you too can confidently face those who think you are spoiling your child too much. **And most importantly:** concrete help for your everyday life. No rigid parenting programs, but tools individually tailored to your child and your family situation. You will receive easily implementable help with which you can support your child in growing up confident, independent, and happy. Especially in parenting, the small things often have the greatest impact. Marte Meo (which means 'from your own strength') helps us with this. A partly video-based method where we look together at what your child can already do well and where you can still specifically support them. We build on that. Because often we already do things that are helpful – we are just not aware of them. The moment you become aware of them, you can use this behavior specifically – even in stressful situations where you would otherwise resort to your emergency program.
